What coaches are saying:

“The work John did with our men helped the group of student-athletes understand the current individual and team culture and the path forward to accomplishing a better team dynamic. The polarity work helped us pinpoint the location of our team and the individual, as well as the positive and negative pull these have on one another. The group was able to see where they currently were as a team and find a realistic path to where they want to be in the future as a team.”

“John Yeager is one of the most effective and innovative Leadership coaches I’ve worked with. In my opinion, the greatest value of John’s coaching focuses on “polarities.” Things such as dynamically balancing support and accountability, and providing direction and inviting participation. These are all challenges of being an effective leader. Coach Yeager really dives in to finding balance in these areas while communicating values. I truly believe that Coach Yeager has been instrumental in developing leaders within our team and helping me be become the best coach I can be!”

“John Yeager brings a different kind of energy, a different kind of vibe where coaches have an opportunity to share some of their common vision toward working with athletes. He provides tangible real-life action steps to be mindful and aware of how they can help athletes move from a self to team focus, as well as how adult mentors can make shifts in their own personal and coaching development.”

“I can’t thank John enough for the time he spent with the Middlebury Women’s Hockey team. What he did that night stayed with the team throughout the season. We finished 21-3-3 and were set to host an NCAA quarterfinal game when the NCAA canceled all sports because of COVID. But they understood the situation and did the best they could.”
